Light Yagami is a dedicated student, top of the country, and bored. Or at least he was until he came across a notebook lying outside the classroom window.

Now, with the help of a shinigami, a God of Death, he's going to make a new world, free of the people who have brought it into disrepute. And he intends to rule over this world as its God.

That is if nobody manages to stop him.

Light Yagami is an average-looking teenager of 17 years old, with straw-coloured hair and a relatively smart appearance. He appears serious, but casual and easy-going most of the time, and certainly doesn't look ridden with guilt over the people he kills off. He has no powers of his own, but can kill people by writing their names in the Death Note, if he can picture their face. At home he is followed around by the Shinigami Ryuk, but for now it can be assumed that when he is in the Bar he is not.

This isn't a power that he will be planning to use in the Bar though, so you should be fairly safe...
